My First Bitcoin and integrated in Fedi Community Superapp
The Salvadoran organization, also known as My First Bitcoin, advocates for global, independent, impartial, and community-led Bitcoin-only education. Fedi is an innovative superapp that uses freedom technologies like Bitcoin and fedimint to give communities around the globe an accessible and affordable way to transact money, chat securely, protect their data, and more.
With more than 100 registered groups – called hyper-communities – Fedi aims to empower individuals with customizable solutions that fit their specific needs.
One of the key factors in onboarding new generations to emerging technologies is education. The Bitcoin Diploma, created by My First Bitcoin, represents one of the first such efforts, having already reached thousands of individuals in more than 30 countries. The non-profit has taught over 30,000 in-person students in El Salvador, and its open-source educational resources have been used by over 30 independent educators that make up part of the Node Network.
This 175-page Diploma workbook, divided into 10 chapters and intended for a 10-week learning program, is a testament to the goal of bringing community-led Bitcoin education to the world. All materials are also publicly available on GitHub.The pre-loaded integration of the workbook in the Fedi app brings Bitcoin education within reach of communities, community leaders, and interested users. The Fedi Community Superapp, and with it the Diploma workbook are available on iOS, Android and APK. For questions about this announcement, please contact arnold@mirpimerbitcoin.io.
